Ladies and gentlemen, start your cells

PrepzymesThe human body in its most basic form is simply a collection of cells that join together to make us who we are, what we look like, etc. We are composed of some 10 trillion cells that are divided into about 200 varied types of cells. There are cells for all the various organs.

But cells by themselves do not function fast enough or efficiently enough to sustain life. Enzymes – there are more than 5,000 of them in the body – are necessary to catalyze the cells into action.
Enzymes provide a route of energy that enables a cell to perform its function much more quickly than it could without that spark. Think of the cells of your body like a motor just sitting there waiting to spring into action. Enzymes fire up the cells so they can perform their functions throughout the body.

The 5,000 or so enzymes in the body come and go. They go away as we age, they go away because they are cooked away in food preparation, and in formulating processed foods. Enzymes are especially sensitive to heat levels above 118 degrees Fahrenheit. Pasteurizing, canning, cooking, microwaving – anything producing heat in excess of 118 degrees – kills enzymes. One of the most vital functions of enzymes is to aid in digestion, which is becoming a larger issue in our society because of the dominance of prepared foods that are not as enzyme-rich as they were in their natural state. AIM PrepZymes® fills that void in today’s diet.

AIM PrepZymes® combines cultured enzymes, papaya fruit, and alpine wild garlic to aid in digestion. Lack of proper digestion can result in constipation, hemorrhoids, bloating, gas, fatigue, weight gain, weight loss, and headaches, just to note a few of the possible complications of poor digestion.

Papaya fruit: This ingredient contains papain, an enzyme that affixes itself to proteins, helps with protein digestion, and has a relaxing effect on the stomach.

Alpine wild garlic: This part of the AIM PrepZymes® formula has been shown to aid in digestion in addition to providing a level of antioxidant activity for the product.

Cultured enzymes: These are important because they are cultivated, strained off, and purified so no fungi, bacteria, or yeasts remain. Cultured enzymes replace the naturally occurring enzymes lost in food processing and food preparation. They are also necessary to aid in digestion to overcome modern diets filled with fats, proteins, sugars, dairy products, snack foods, and processed foods.

Carmie JonesCarmie Jones, an AIM Director from South Holland, Illinois, understands the value and function of AIM PrepZymes®. “Whenever I eat cooked food I take 4-6 digestive enzymes, knowing that the enzymes naturally present in the foods were destroyed by heat. I also take a couple with fresh produce since I don’t know how long it sat there in a store or warehouse losing enzymes since it was picked. But I am especially glad to take them when eating cheese. No more migraine headaches triggered by cheese! In addition, I don’t get a stuffy head and thick throat as I do if I don’t take my enzymes. Hooray for AIM PrepZymes®.
